Public Notice - Public Hearing February 5, 2013



PUBLIC NOTICE
IRONHOUSE SANITARY DISTRICT, OAKLEY, CA

Notice is hereby given that the Ironhouse Sanitary District ("District") public hearing that was originally scheduled to occur at 7:00 p.m. on January  8,  2013, pursuant to Government Code section 4217.10 et seq. to consider the adoption of a resolution making findings that the cost of the proposed, distributed generation solar photovoltaic project to be installed by Real Goods Solar under a Solar Power Purchase Agreement at the District's Water Recycling Plant and Administration/Maintenance Buildings has been continued to 7:00 p.m. on February 5, 2013. 
At the continued public hearing, the District will consider adoption of a resolution making findings pursuant to Government Code section 4217.10 et seq. that the cost of the proposed, distributed generation solar photovoltaic project to be installed by Real Goods Solar under a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (“PPA”) at the District’s Water Recycling Plant and Administration/Maintenance Buildings will be offset and will be less than the anticipated marginal cost to the District of electrical or other energy that would have been consumed by the District if such project was not completed, and that the difference, if any, between the fair market value of the easement and the payment for the easement, is anticipated to be offset by below-market energy purchases or other benefits provided under the PPA.  In addition, the resolution under consideration would approve the Solar PPA.  Finally, the resolution under consideration would approve a Mitigated Negative Declaration, a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting  Program, and certain findings pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
